LSO Discovery Junior Choir

Activity Description

The London Symphony Orchestra Discovery Choirs are an opportunity for young people of all abilities to experience the joy of singing and making music together as a group. Regular rehearsals on Mondays during term time are designed to be fun, friendly and educational, and build towards the Choirs’ own termly concerts in front of an audience of family and friends.

The Choirs are split into two age groups, who rehearse separately, and perform in the same concerts. Rehearsals are currently led by Lucy Hollins, a conductor, presenter, writer and animateur who is passionate about opening up opportunities for everyone to experience the transformative power of music. She is also Creative Director of the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain, among other roles.
