Little Steps by RISE Dance (Tuesdays)

Activity Description

Little Steps is a dance and movement class designed and created by RISE Dance. In Little Steps we focus on nurturing and developing your child’s fundamental movement skills in a fun and creative way. We explore the world through dance using our specialist stage lighting and current music from children’s popular culture. Our focus in this class is to introduce children to dance at early age and help them develop their confidence, movement and communication skills. We cover a variety of dance styles in this class such as Street Dance, Ballroom and Latin.

We also incorporate props and sensory equipment such as ribbons and play games such as the ‘bean game’ and our super popular ‘super hero’ game! We also ask any participating children to bring with them their teddy or toy of their choice as all of our classes feature a ‘teddy’ themed dance where Children get to dance with their favourite dance partner – their teddy bear!
