Get Started in…Film Production

Activity Description

Also described as Work Related Learning (WRL), this course teaches transferable skills – Screenwriting, Camerawork, Film History and Scene/Fight Choreography (a favourite!) – via online lessons and fun practical activities, and builds confidence, leadership and organizational skills.

Students are guided step-by-step to create short films in groups (using a smartphone or tablet to shoot & edit) which are an excellent addition to their portfolios.

No previous film-making experience is required.

All films will be included in an online, digital showcase. A selection of the films will receive their world premiere at our Young Film Academy Awards.
All creative subjects include The Arts Award so students will achieve a qualification and receive a certificate.
