Dinosaurs: Stay and Play – Easter Holidays

Activity Description

“ROAR!!!” Make a dinosaur out of scrap materials and play with our mini dinosaur world. Will you make a big or a small dinosaur? Or even turn yourself into one ?! We will have lots of different materials to work with to make amazing and unique creations. Fabrics, cardboard, tubes, foam… the list goes on!

What’s included:

– All sorts of scrap materials to create dinosaurs of any shapes, sizes or colours – or even turn yourself into one!
– Support provided to bring your ideas to life.
– Theme serves as a starting point.

We will provide an abundance of scrap materials for you to explore and give you any guidance and support you need! Make as many different creations as you want and you can take them all home.

The theme of these sessions are a starting point for your child’s creativity. The Playroom is full of resources and is a space to explore ideas. Your child may choose to do something different which is fine by us!

This workshop is aimed at children aged 5+. Younger siblings are welcome with supervision but please be mindful that we will be using small parts, scissors and glue guns, so it may not be age appropriate.

All bookings include one-day membership to the Scrapstore Warehouse, where you can collect up to a basket of scrap for a donation of £7 (less if the basket isn’t full).

Children’s Scrapstore is a local charity dedicated to making waste things play things. We work with sustainable resources that have been donated rather than going into landfill.
Our focus is on play and creativity, sessions are child-led. We won’t dictate what your child does. We just provide some materials, prompts and guidance for them to explore the materials as they wish.
