Have you had a baby and now feel your fitness is needing a bit more of a push?

Here at Parent Sanctuary we’re offering social running/jogging sessions with your baby in the pushchair. They’re designed to be a gentle pace for those getting back to fitness after having a baby. We’ll ease you in with a warm up, and aim to get to 5 km. You’re also welcome to join us child-free if your baby is in childcare!

The regular route is available on Strava and we’re happy to adjust to pace to something that works for everyone.

We ask that you wait until your baby is over 6 months old before joining our running group – partly for your own postpartum recovery, and partly for your baby’s physical strength and ability to sit up in a pushchair. Please check that your pram is safe for jogging, and consider seeing a specialist physio before starting any postpartum exercise.

This is a female only session. After discussing with our members, we’ve decided that many women feel more comfortable exercising in a female-only environment, particularly after giving birth – when our bodies don’t necessarily do what we expect!
