Our classes for Teenagers are –
‘Modern Grade 6’ – Mondays 5.10 – 5.55pm at the Leisure Centre – Modern dance is the basis of a variety of dance movement, advancing technique and dynamics, following the ISTD syllabus.
‘Tap Grade 5’ – Mondays – 5.45 – -6.15pm at the Leisure Centre- Following the ISTD syllabus, advancing skills in tap dance in it’s exciting percussive and rhythmical form.
‘Street Junior’ – Tuesdays 3.45 – 4.30pm at the Leisure Centre – Basic skills in street styles including breaking, hip hop, popping, locking and many more.
‘Street Senior’- Tuesdays 4.30 – 5.15pm at the Leisure Centre -Advancing on street skills in styles breaking, hip hop, popping, locking and many more.
‘Contemporary’ – Tuesdays 5.15 – 6.00pm at the Leisure Centre- Encouraging creative freedom and artistic expression through elements of contract, release, spiral, floor work, improvisation and fall and recovery.
‘Musical Theatre Senior’ – Wednesdays 5.15 – 6.15pm at the Leisure Centre- singing, dance and acting in one class. Students will learn routines from famous West End shows and films while having lots of fun and building confidence.
‘Ballet Grade 4’- Thursdays 4.30 – 5.30pm at St Andrews Church Hall- Following the ISTD syllabus, working on ballet technique and skills to progress through graded examinations should they wish to and when they are ready.
‘Body Conditioning’- Thursdays 5.30-6.15pm at St Andrews Church Hall- Progressing Ballet Technique and Alixa Flexibility method alongside other stretching and strengthening techniques.
‘Pointe Class’ – Thursdays 6.15 – 6.30pm at St Andrews Hall – Age 12 upwards, only with several years of ballet training and having passed a strength test. Students will perform exercises and learn how to dance ‘en pointe’.
‘Ballet Grade 6’- Thursdays 6.30 – 7.30pm at St Andrews Church Hall- Following the ISTD syllabus, working on ballet technique and skills to progress through graded examinations should they wish to and when they are ready.
‘Acro L3 & L4’ – Fridays 5.30- 6.15pm at Highbury Hall- Advancing our acrobatic skills, following the Acrobatic Arts program working through the levels appropriate for the child.
‘Acro L5 & L6’ – Fridays 6.15 – 7pm at Highbury Hall- Advancing our acrobatic skills, following the Acrobatic Arts program working through the levels appropriate for the child.
