Our Primary School classes are –
‘Ballet Primary’ – Fridays, 4.45-5.30pm at St Mildreds Hall – Following the ISTD syllabus, working on ballet technique and skills to progress through graded examinations should they wish to and when they are ready.
‘ Primary Tap and Modern’ – Thursdays 4.00 – 4.45pm at St Mildreds Hall- Modern dance is the basis of a variety of dance movement, improving technique and dynamics, following the ISTD syllabus. Exploring tap dance in it’s exciting percussive and rhythmical form.
‘Street Junior’ – Tuesdays 3.45 – 4.30pm at the Leisure Centre – Basic skills in street styles including breaking, hip hop, popping, locking and many more.
‘Street Senior’- Tuesdays 4.30 – 5.15pm at the Leisure Centre -Advancing on street skills in styles breaking, hip hop, popping, locking and many more.
‘Contemporary’ – Tuesdays 5.15 – 6.00pm at the Leisure Centre- Encouraging creative freedom and artistic expression through elements of contract, release, spiral, floor work, improvisation and fall and recovery.
‘Musical Theatre Junior’ – Wednesdays 4:00 – 4.45pm, ‘Musical Theatre Inter’ 4.45 – 5.30pm, ‘Musical Theatre Upper Inter’ 5:30 – 6:15pm at the Leisure Centre- singing, dance and acting in one class. Students will learn routines from famous West End shows and films while having lots of fun and building confidence.

‘Grade 1 Modern’, Mondays, 4.15-4.45pm, St Mildreds Hall Advancing skills in modern dance as the basis of a variety of dance movement, improving technique and dynamics, following the ISTD syllabus. Exploring tap dance in it’s exciting percussive and rhythmical form.
‘Body Conditioning’- Thursdays 5.30-6.15pm at St Andrews Church Hall- Progressing Ballet Technique and Alixa Flexibility method alongside other stretching and strengthening techniques.
‘Acro Primary L1’ – Thursdays, 3:45-4:30pm at St Andrews Hall, ‘Acro Primary L1’ – Fridays, 3.45-4.30pm , ‘Acro L2-L3’ – Fridays, 5.45- 6.15pm, all at Highbury Hall. Working on acrobatic skills, following the Acrobatic Arts program working through the levels appropriate for the child.
‘Grade 3 Tap’ – Fridays 4.30- 5.00pm, ‘Grade 4 Modern’ – Friday 5.00-5.45pm, at Highbury Hall- Advancing skills in modern dance as the basis of a variety of dance movement, improving technique and dynamics, following the ISTD syllabus. Exploring tap dance in it’s exciting percussive and rhythmical form.
‘Performance Class’, Fridays 5.45-6.30pm at Tenterden Leisure Centre. Gives children who love to perform the chance to join a mixed-age team, with no audition required. Students learn a variety of dances across different styles, building performance skills, confidence, and teamwork along the way.
‘Kicks, Leaps and Turns’, Mondays, 6.30 – 7.15pm, at Tenterden Leisure Centre. Designed for dancers ready to take their technique to the next level. This class focuses on the core skills that elevate any performance — sharp, controlled kicks, powerful leaps, and clean, confident turns.
