The academic part of this course will prepare your child for the 11+, whether they are beginning their journey as they are about to enter Year 5 or are in the final stages of their preparation entering Year 6. The curriculum is tailored to the student’s current year level. We will cover the core 11+ pillars, including Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning. The course will consolidate current understanding in all subjects before building upon those foundations. We will tackle challenging, common questions and learn effective strategies to approach them with confidence. We also cover essential literacy skills, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary. The course is led by Lauren Parcell, Head of Primary Tuition at Dukes Tutoring, an experienced 11+ teacher who brings both warmth and engagement to her lessons.
