Class Business Live 2026: A Full Day of Business Growth, Big Conversations and Celebrating the UK’s Class-Based Business Sector

Published on 16th September 2026 by Tessa Robinson

There are thousands of brilliant class-based businesses across the UK changing lives every single week. They’re helping children grow in confidence, giving families somewhere to belong, teaching new skills, building communities and creating opportunities.

And on Saturday 10 October 2026, we’re bringing the people behind those businesses together.

Class Business Live and The Class Business Awards are taking over the National Conference Centre in Solihull for one huge day and night dedicated to learning, connection, growth and, finally, giving this incredible sector the celebration it deserves.

Created by business strategist and Class Business Academy founder Krissy Monaghan, Class Business Live has been designed specifically around the challenges class business owners are facing right now.

Because running a class business is about so much more than delivering a brilliant class.

You have to get people to notice you. Build an audience that trusts you. Turn enquiries into bookings. Create an experience that keeps customers coming back. Build a team. Watch the numbers. Lead the business. And somehow find the time and headspace to work out what comes next.

That is exactly what Class Business Live has been built to help with.

From Getting Known to Building a Profitable Business

Class Business Live 2026: A Full Day of Business Growth, Big Conversations and Celebrating the UK’s Class-Based Business Sector

Rather than packing the programme with disconnected talks, the day follows the real growth journey of a class-based business: Get Known, Build Community, Make Sales, Keep Customers and Build Profit.

Across the morning, attendees will hear from eight experienced business owners and specialists, including Matt Hall on building a personal brand, Rose Gibson on becoming famous to the right people, Niki Hutchison on community-led marketing, Enfys Maloney on sales, Nic Welsh on customer experience and retention, and Jo Simpson on building a genuinely profitable business.

Krissy Monaghan will host the day alongside Book That In founder Tim Freed, before the pair close the main programme with a conversation about the future of the class business industry and the opportunities ahead.

“The class business sector is full of phenomenal business owners, but so many are still trying to work everything out on their own,” says Krissy.

“I wanted to create a day that wasn’t about sitting in a room, listening to speaker after speaker and coming home with pages of notes you never look at again. I want people to have conversations, ask the questions that matter to their business, meet people who understand this industry and leave knowing what they’re actually going to do next.

“This sector deserves its own space. It deserves investment, recognition, proper business conversations and a much bigger spotlight. That’s what we’re building.”

22 Mastermind Tables

One of the biggest differences at Class Business Live is what happens after the main speaker programme.

Instead of another afternoon of presentations, attendees will choose three of 22 expert-led mastermind conversations, with 20 minutes at each table to tackle the areas most relevant to their own business.

Topics range from content that fills classes, turning enquiries into bookings and building strategic partnerships to managing a growing team, creating additional income streams, franchising and licensing, customer journey automation, founder wellbeing and getting out of operational chaos.

There are even dedicated conversations around working with ADHD as a founder, moving from founder to CEO, building a business that creates genuine impact and saving hours every week through better systems.

The idea is simple: less passive listening, more useful conversation.

It also creates something Krissy believes is desperately needed across the sector: opportunities for business owners to sit alongside people who understand the very particular realities of building a business around classes, sessions and communities.

Then We Celebrate

And after a full day focused on where these businesses are going next, the evening is all about recognising how far they have already come.

From 6pm, guests will return for The Class Business Awards 2026, the first national awards created exclusively to recognise class-based businesses across the UK.

The black-tie evening will bring together finalists, sponsors, judges, speakers, business owners and industry leaders for a drinks reception, dinner, awards ceremony, live entertainment, networking and an afterparty through to 12.30am.

The Awards were created as much more than a single night of trophies. Since launching, they have become a year-long platform for sharing the stories behind class businesses, spotlighting the people building them and raising the profile of an industry whose impact can too easily be underestimated.

From children’s activities, education and performing arts to fitness, wellbeing, creative businesses and adult learning, the Awards celebrate businesses that are creating both commercial success and meaningful impact in the communities they serve.

Club Hub UK is also part of the 2026 celebrations as the official sponsor of Brand Excellence of the Year, recognising businesses demonstrating clarity, confidence and consistency in the way they show up, communicate and connect with their customers.

One Industry. One Room. A Lot to Talk About.

Class Business Live is open to ambitious owners of businesses built around classes, programmes, sessions and group experiences, whether they’re running their first classes, managing multiple locations, building a team, growing a franchise or simply trying to work out what the next stage of their business should look like.

And while children’s activity providers will be a huge part of the room, this is deliberately bigger than one corner of the sector.

Krissy adds:

“I’ve spent years working with class-based business owners and I genuinely believe there is something incredibly powerful about getting the right people into the same room.

“We need people leaving with stronger businesses, new connections, possible collaborations, practical ideas and a clearer understanding of what their business needs next.

“And then, after all that work, I want us to put our nice clothes on, raise a glass and celebrate properly. Because what this industry creates every single week absolutely deserves that moment.”
