Young Nomads Theatre Club

Activity Description

NKT’s (Newmarket Kings Theatre) theatre club is for students aged 11 to 17 years old – a great way to build confidence, develop performance skills and most importantly have fun! Young Nomads will introduce children to the world of theatre through workshops in the three main disciplines; singing, dancing and acting, led by our highly qualified tutors in a fun, interactive and imaginative way leading into rehearsing to perform a show on a real stage. Sessions are for 1.5 hours on a Friday evening but rehearsals can be 3 hours and take place on a Friday evening and some Sundays typically 10am to 2pm. Costs are £60 per student for a 10 week term.
The junior class (typically for school years 7 & 8) is 6pm to 7.30pm on a Friday.
The senior class (typically for school years 9 to 11) is 7.30pm to 9pm on a Friday.
