Hello parent! How will your child spend this summer?
The summer holidays can disappear quickly, with hours of scrolling, video games and YouTube. By September, many children return to school having lost confidence and forgotten some of the skills they worked so hard to build during the year.
The Young Writers Summer Storytelling Camp offers something different: a week of creativity, learning and confidence-building. A week where your child creates something they can be proud of. Instead of consuming stories all summer, they’ll learn how to create their own!
A fun and inspiring summer programme for young writers aged 9 –15
Do you have a child who loves stories?
Perhaps they fill notebooks with ideas, invent fascinating characters, or dream of writing their own book one day.
Or maybe they enjoy writing but need encouragement, structure, and confidence to take their skills further.
The Young Writers Summer Storytelling Camp is designed to help children and teenagers unlock their creativity, strengthen their storytelling skills, and connect with other young people who share their passion for writing.
Over six exciting days, students will learn the building blocks of great storytelling while working on their own original writing projects in a fun, supportive, and encouraging environment.
This programme is ideal for:
✔ Children and teenagers aged 9 –15
✔ Students who enjoy reading and writing
✔ Children who have lots of ideas but need guidance
✔ Young writers who want to improve their skills
✔ Students who dream of writing their own book someday
✔ Children who enjoy making things up and fill notebooks with ideas
✔ Young people who want to make friends with like-minded writers
✔ Need a confidence boost
No previous experience is required. Beginners and more experienced young writers are welcome.
