Join us for an exciting, therapist-led escape room adventure at Escape Hunt, designed to help autistic children and teens connect, collaborate and build friendships in a fun, structured environment.
Working in small, supportive groups, young people will solve puzzles, crack clues and work together to complete the challenge. Experienced behaviour therapists are on hand throughout to gently support communication, teamwork and confidence, helping each child engage at their own pace. After the escape room we will have time to relax, chat and have some food together, giving time for meaningful connection.
We’re running two sessions:
• 11.15am to 1.15pm: Ages 8–11 (conversational autistic children)
• 1.45pm to 3.45pm: Ages 12–17 (conversational autistic children)
The younger group will be tumbling down the rabbit hole into “Alice in Puzzleland”! The Mad Hatter is in trouble, accused of stealing the Queen of Hearts’ tarts, and with Alice nowhere to be seen! It’s up to our team of young detectives to fill her shoes. They’ll have 60 minutes to find and return the Queen’s Tarts, or it’s off with the Hatter’s head.
The older group will be playing “Blackbeard’s Treasure”, stepping aboard a pirate’s galleon and setting sail for the high seas! They’ll end up locked in a cabin with 60 minutes to escape – any longer and they’ll drown, if the sharks don’t get them first!
Spectrum Socials CIC runs small, therapist-led social groups and events for autistic children and teens across London. Our focus is on creating welcoming, inclusive spaces where young people can feel comfortable being themselves, develop confidence, and form genuine friendships. Parents are invited to stay, helping to build a supportive community around each group.
