Children Take Centre Stage at Nottingham Comedy Festival with First-Ever Kids Comedy Weekend
Saturday 8th November:
12pm: El Baldiniho’s Magic Show for Kids – a hilarious hour of daft magic , props and puns ! Britain’s Got Talent funny man El Baldiniho, whose riotous mix of comedy and magic has wowed audiences nationwide.
At the end of the show you’ll get to learn how to do some of the magic and take home a bag of simple tricks!
Suitable for accompanied kids 6+ and there’s lots for parents / carers to laugh at too !
El Baldiniho is a magician and prop comedian performing on TV, in comedy clubs, at festivals and at corporate events across the UK and beyond.
Recently seen on Britain’s Got Talent (where he got 4 yeses) he can also be seen headlining family friendly comedy events at The Comedy Store, Up The Creek, and The Frog and Bucket.

For the very first time, Nottingham Comedy Festival is launching a dedicated programme of Kids Comedy Shows — bringing laughter, magic, games, and even science to the city. Across the weekend of 8th – 9th November 2025, families can enjoy 8 hilarious shows designed to entertain children and parents alike. All the shows are disabled friendly and the venue is wheelchair accessible.
1:30pm: The Blue Badge Bunch – “The disability Taskmaster” where kids tackle fun challenges like drawing with their feet whilst learning about disability. £8
3pm: Den’s Dragon – The Quest for Dragon’s Gold – Party games and a treasure hunt for the dragon’s stolen gold. £5
4:30pm The Discount Comedy Checkout – An award-winning family improv show where anything can happen. £5
Sunday 9th November:
12pm: Philip Simon’s School’s Out Comedy Club – A bonkers, award-winning show where children (and maybe even a few parents) take to the stage to share their favourite jokes. Expect silliness, cheeky laughs and almost certainly a few references to poo! £5
1:30pm Benny Shakes: Sluggageddon – Join the interactive battle to defeat the King Slug and save Benny’s prize cabbages! £5
3pm Jeddy Bear & Gary Save the World – Multi-Award nominated show. Expect an action-packed adventure with funny skits, games, world record attempts and the usual pie facing madness £5
4:30pm Fun Science with Jacky – A laugh-out-loud interactive science show. £7
With shows priced between £5–£8, the weekend is the perfect affordable outing for families looking for something different — and a little silly!
Shows are on in the Old Cold Store, the function room of the Vat and Fiddle, it is fully wheelchair accessible.
