Twilight Tricks Halloween at the Roald Dahl Museum, Great Missenden

Activity Description

Stay late at the Museum for some Halloween fun! Take part in our village trick-or-treat trail with a sweetie surprise at the end, enjoy some spooky drop-in crafts and get your face painted.

Twit-or-Treat Trail
Pick up one of our Twit-or-Treat trails to explore the village that inspired Roald Dahl, with some spooky special appearances… Finish off at the Museum to enjoy a sweetie surprise!
£4 per person. 4.30pm to 7pm.

Face Painting
Get your face painted to transform into one of your favourite Roald Dahl characters!
£6 per person. 4.30pm to 7.30pm.

Beastly Boxes
Are you brave enough to reach inside our touchy feely boxes? As the sun sets in the courtyard you can explore. Look hard and you might discover some hidden secrets or create some spooky shadows. What will you find when you shine a torch in our dark boxes? For a gentler experience, play with shadows, making your own and finding ours in the shaded area.
Free with Museum entry. 4.30pm to 7pm.

Spooky Storytelling
Join in with scary stories from The Witches told by our expert storytellers. They will bring the story alive with actions and noises. Be warned, this is a scary story – not for the faint-hearted!
