The bus will be parked on Victoria Embankment by Somerset House. There are no public toilets in the vicinity and no toilets on-board the bus. The bus leaves and returns from the same point.
Will we be able to get off the bus?
No, the bus is only permitted to pick up/drop off passengers at our designated locations.
Is there a toilet on-board?
No, there is no toilet on board our MONOPOLY Tea Tours. There are no public toilets at the Somerset House departure point.
I would love to book a MONOPOLY Tea Tour – why is it only for over 5’s?
Due to the length of the tour and having no toilets on board the bus, our MONOPOLY Tea Tours are best suited, and enjoyed, by children of 5 years and over. Parents / guardians must be confident that all persons in their party will not need to use toilet facilities for the duration of the whole experience.
Please be advised that no standing or walking is permitted during the tour. Parents are responsible for assessing whether their children are capable of remaining seated on parents’ laps or on their own for the duration of the 90-minute tour. Parents are also responsible for keeping their children seated during the tour.
Do you allow babies on board?
We do not allow babies on board. We only allow children from 5+ years on our Monopoly Tea Tours.
Are there seatbelts for the children?
No, we operate a 1960’s classic Routemaster bus, which was not fitted with seatbelts. We are not required to install seatbelts for health and safety. Please be advised that no standing or walking is permitted during the tour. Parents are responsible for assessing whether their children are capable of remaining seated on parents’ laps or on their own for the duration of the tour. Parents are also responsible for keeping their children seated during the tour.
Would you advise having two children per adult maximum?

Can we bring our own food for children who are fussy eaters, are in process of weaning or have multiple food allergies?
Yes. Please mention dietary requirements upon booking, but in the case we cannot meet your needs, own food is permitted.
Is there a first aider on board?
Yes, all staff on board are trained in first aid.

Terms & Conditions
Brigit’s Classic & Themed Bus Tours : children from 5 years old are allowed onboard.
The Official Peppa Pig Bus Tour : children from 2 years old are allowed onboard. Babies are not permitted.
The Gin Bus Tour : Adult Only for over 18.
Children aged 15 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult.
There is a discounted rate for 5-11 year olds on our Classic & Themed Bus Tours. For the Official Peppa Pig Bus Tour there is a discounted rate for 2-11 year olds.
The ticket is valid for use on the Brigit’s Bus Tour only for the time and date stated on the ticket.
The bus cannot wait for latecomers, passengers are requested to arrive at the boarding point 20 minutes prior the departure time. Our buses have to leave on the dot, no refunds will not be given in case of lateness. No boarding is allowed outside of the departure gate, late passengers are not allowed to catch the bus on route or attempt to jump on board.
The ticket remains the property of the company and must be made available for inspection by the conductor or driver on demand.
Tickets:
FOR INDIVIDUALS
We require full payment of the bill in order to ensure the booking.
There is a cool down period of 24 hours after the initial booking was made. If you cancel within this 24 hour period, we will give you a full refund minus the Cancellation Fee (£10 per person).
If you cancel more than 24 hours after the booking was made, we will not refund any of your fare. You may prefer to change your tour instead.
Changing fee of £22.50 per person for tours within 2 weeks of change request.
Changing fee of £10 per person for tours further than 2 weeks from change request.
FOR GROUPS (+ 10 people)
We require a 50% down payment of the total bill in order to ensure the booking which is non-refundable. 2 weeks prior your booking we require the full payment which is non-refundable.
We reserve the right to cancel or suspend services as deemed necessary and without issuing advanced notice. In the event of a tour cancellation we will offer a transfer to an alternative tour if available. If an issue arises due to mechanical reasons, we will try our best to replace the bus within 60 minutes. If unsuccessful, we can offer you a place on another tour, free of charge, subject to availability.
If the tour is stopped for some reason after the first half hour, we can offer you a place on another tour, free of charge, subject to availability.
Conditions of carriage are subject to the provisions made by the Public Passenger Vehicles Act 1981; full details are available from our office.
Brigit’s Bus Tours take no responsibility for items left on the bus, personal items are carried at the owner’s risk and Brigit’s can take no responsibility for items damaged or lost.
Smoking / vaping is not permitted on the bus.
You must keep the lid on the hot drinks at all times.
Brigit’s Bus Tours reserves the right to refuse entry to intoxicated persons, and will not tolerate in any way abusive or threatening behaviour to staff. In such instances tickets will not be refunded.
Brigit’s Bus Tours asks that passengers are mindful of others during the tour, and anyone behaving in a disruptive manner will be asked to disembark, in case of refusal, authority will be called.
Wedding hire. If hiring the bus for wedding transport customers must take out their own wedding transport insurance, as the Brigit’s Bus Tours cannot accept liability for alternative transport provision in the event of serious mechanical or technical failure of the bus.
Please be aware that we operate on historic vehicles and as such whilst we try our up-most to maintain the buses to the highest standards on occasion the buses may encounter mechanical problems. In the event of a breakdown we will attempt to fix the problem.
Brigit’s Afternoon Tea Ltd is not responsible for any damage caused by the infringement of the rules.
Management or the bus driver can, at any given time, change the normal route due to traffic, road works, London events and any other matters.
Management can, at any given time, change the departure points of Northumberland Avenue, Victoria Coach Station and Somerset House due to traffic, road works, London events and any other matters.
Buses are not permitted to pass in front of Buckingham Palace and along The Mall, therefore Brigit’s Bus Tour takes passengers along a street called Buckingham Gate.
Alcohol Policy: Alcohol is pre-sold only. No alcohol will be sold on board the bus. Book your drinks when booking online or over the phone. Brigit’s Bus Tours follows a Challenge 25 Policy. ID is required. No refunds will be given if no Photographic ID is shown. Purchase of alcohol is non-refundable. Alcohol consumption is permitted on the bus only, alcohol cannot be taken off the bus.
We strongly recommend holding on to your glass to avoid spillage.
Gift Voucher Policy: gift vouchers are non-refundable.
Third party or resellers vouchers (eg: Virgin Experience Day) are subject to the resellers terms and conditions (eg: week days only/ bottom deck only). Brigit’s Bakery does not take responsibility for voucher restrictions or other issues from resellers.

This is a continuous tour, we do not stop. In case of an emergency, the bus will allow the passenger(s) off, however the bus will not be able to wait for them.

Just an 8 minute stroll down Buckingham Palace Road from Victoria Station or 10 mins walk from Sloane Square underground station.
Victoria Coach Station can be found on Buckingham Palace Road at the junction with Elizabeth Bridge. The bus tour departs from Gate 0 inside the Coach Station. The bus leaves and returns from the same point.
There are public toilet facilities and luggage lockers available at the station. Both are payable. Please use the toilets prior to boarding the bus as there are no toilets on-board.
