CSI BLOOD POOL
——————————————-
(Wed 14th Aug – Thinkers in Education, UEA)
——————————————-
13:45 – 16:30 for ages 15+
A body has been found and there is blood at the scene. With multiple suspects, each with a possible motive and the opportunity, participants will work in teams to determine what really happened. They must carefully analyse the crime scene photos, carry out a blood typing test for each of the suspects and conduct DNA fingerprint tests to see who has been in the crime scene.
Every participant will learn the key scientific concepts and practical skills ready to conduct each forensic test like a professional. But players really need to focus their detective minds. They must determine which evidence is most important and what it actually proves. When one careless mistake can contaminate the evidence and when all may not be what it seems – the wrong suspect may be found guilty. Someone may be about to get away with murder!
Can you solve it?
