Artshed Arts – Kids Pottery Lessons in Ware, Hertfordshire

Artshed Arts - Kids Pottery Lessons in Ware, Hertfordshire

At Artshed Arts, Ware, Hertfordshire we provide exciting workshops for all ages and abilities in all creative disciplines.

Our Children and Family Pottery workshop runs once a month on a Saturday afternoon where we teach a new exciting project like a Frida Kahlo hanging plants pot or a watermelon pen pot. Following our fun, step-by-step instruction to create a finished piece that can be decorated with underglaze ready to be fired in our Kiln. This class is great for children and parents or grandparents to spend time together.

We also run a kids Mindfulness Art Class, weekly on a Monday after school where we explore and learn new creative techniques, from clay sculpture, plaster moulding, recycling projects, fused glass, painting and drawing, in our unique and fun setting on Westmill Farm. At Artshed Arts we explore outside collecting natural materials in our beautiful grounds and the stunning views over the three lakes. We cloud gaze and practice breathing techniques and mindfulness.

If you are looking for something less structured we have a pottery painting studio too!

All our classes for children, are developed to help them understand their emotions and how to talk about their feelings whilst providing a safe space to build self-confidence and knowledge in specific art techniques to feel self worth.

Throughout the year we celebrate the seasons with lots of workshops from print making to stained glass, silver clay jewellery to crochet, painting and drawing club to figure sculpture.

There is something for everyone and everyone is welcome!

You don’t need to be arty or have an ability to draw. To be creative is a mindfulness process anyone can enjoy if time is set aside for it.

The inspiration and ability to be creative is then learn’t from giving yourself the time.

You are creatively awesome!
