Tessa Robinson, Club Hub UK, has been awarded the Business of the Year in the Business Success Recognition Awards 2022.
Tessa Robinson, Director and Founder of Club Hub UK says:
“I still can’t believe it! I was enjoying the evening so much that by the time the ‘Business of the Year’ award winner was read out as the last award of the night I didn’t hear my name. I was so shocked that my event manager, Emma Hewitt, was cheering and clapping well before my brain had registered what had actually just happened. I slowly walked up to the stage realising I hadn’t even prepared any type of speech. I thanked the sponsor, Linda Reynolds – Personal Travel Agent With Your Coop, who told me she had bought the winner, me, a bottle of champagne and an afternoon tea at Claridge’s in London. I then stepped towards the MC of the night, Dave Sharpe to answer his questions about being the owner of Club Hub UK. Luckily my acting days kicked into play and I managed to give surprisingly good answers. I thanked Stacey and her team for all their amazing hard work on putting on such a fantastic awards event and congratulations all the finalists and winners in the room for all their hard work in running their own businesses through the past few challenging years. It was then time for me to take lots of lovely photos of myself and my new shiny trophy”.
Stacey Calder established the Business Success Recognition Awards, sponsored by Breal Credit Management, to celebrate the fantastic work being done by businesses and individuals within the UK business community. These inaugural awards are open to all organisations nationwide regardless of size or maturity.
The Business Success team independently judged over 600 entries and shortlisted the finalists, and a team of expert judges selected the winners for each award. The winners were announced at the Recognition Awards ceremony on Saturday 18th June, at the Eastside Rooms, Birmingham.
Founder, Stacey Calder said:
“These awards come at a time where recognition for small businesses is critical. Not only have I had the privilege of reading over 600 entries, it makes me incredibly proud to be able to give a platform for small businesses to not only recognise their achievements, but to give them a way to raise their profile and showcase what they do. Visibility is key to a business at any time, but with lockdown restrictions and everything covid brought with it right now, it’s vital.”
