The Code Zone Coding Club – Haverhill (6-16yrs)

Activity Description

Each week this exciting termly club introduces children to the diverse world of coding through hands-on creative challenges and games. We use the latest Virtual Reality, robot and drone technology so young people have fun while learning loads of new skills and being part of our community.

Whether your child is new to computers, or on course to be a coding superstar; we’ve got a club level to suit you. From creating a retro arcade game like snakes & ladders, to creating something completely new; challenges are a huge part of our clubs. Each week we design our own, age appropriate, skills-based challenges that develop throughout the term. Our aim is for young people to have a lifelong love of coding while having fun in a supportive environment.

Learn how to code within Virtual Reality. The Code Zone is the only Coding Club where you can program within a virtual environment, find solutions to problems and then see them come to life within the virtual world with our robo-friend ROB!
The bots are back! One of our crowd-favourite activities has finally returned: Program your robot and watch it go! Learn about coding and robotics with this engaging, hands-on activity.
Our Club Zone Leaders are tech and coding experts. They’re led by Ashley and Paul, The Code Zone’s founders. All Zone Leaders have passed enhanced DBS checks and we understand our role in creating safe online spaces for young people.
