AR Krav Maga Kids & Teens Self-defence Club

The Best Norfolk Kids Clubs and Kids ActivitiesOur Junior Warrior Programme (6-10 yrs) provides practical self-defence knowledge, but also a proactive approach to personal development. We strive to help our junior members develop their personalities as empowered members of their communities. Mutual respect and cooperation are encouraged, as well as socialising, problem-solving, and of course fun. The end result is increased self-esteem and self-confidence. These then lead to a more productive and able young child. We want all of our students to possess these skills, and believe you, the parents can see how the training correlates to overcoming challenges in today’s world. Our instructor team are strong role models, promoting positive and healthy behaviour both on and off the training mats.

Our Senior Warrior Programme (11 to 16 yrs) teaches teenagers the skills they need to succeed, while they learn to protect themselves. Our system and teaching methods are from a real-world approach, dealing with the various risks that youths of today are facing. Numerous studies have found that teenagers who study Self Defence have an increased sense of responsibility, and are more reluctant to follow the crowd into risky situations, then a greater sense of self-esteem and growing self-confidence. Since bullying is most prevalent in this age group, we teach effective techniques and strategies so they are able to defend themselves when needed, but also have the skills to avoid conflict where possible. Our classes are high-energy, exciting, fun yet realistic from some of the best instructors in the UK.

Travel in comfort and style aboard lovingly restored British coaching stock that is hauled by period steam engines and diesel traction. Some of our best family events include the Norfolk Lights Express and our famous Santa Specials events. Although, just coming along for a ride on the train is sure to engage young minds.

Beebops Sensory Music and Dance Classes

A fun, lively and interactive Sensory, Music and Dance class for your babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers.

Our Beebops classes are structured and expressive and can help children develop in many different ways through a lively, fun, safe and educational ‘grown-up’ and child interactive sensory, music and dance class.  We actively encourage the grown-up to assist and join in with the child.  We aim for the child to benefit from 45 minute uninterrupted time interacting in different ways with their grown up helping to strengthen parent and child attachment.  Music and dance helps to release endorphins which help to make us happy, so our classes are great for mums suffering with post natal depression too!

Development is a key aspect of Beebops classes, we aim to inform the parents of some of benefits of what they are doing with their child and why.  Playing percussion instruments helps to develop fine motor skills and the use of the large props and movement songs help with the gross motor skills.  Physical exercise is also a key aspect of our classes, we do not expect them to sit for long periods of time, we want them up skipping, jumping and dancing and raising their heart rates and increasing their physical activity.  Even in our baby classes we encourage the parents to move the babies around to help with dexterity and vestibular development.

Our classes have both structured elements and free play to enable your child to develop all the necessary skills required for when they start school, including social interaction with the other children in the group.

Beebops classes use lots of different ways to encourage and engage your child including:

  • Singing
  • Dancing
  • Nursery Rhymes
  • Popular Songs
  • Exciting Props (such as Bean Bags, Parachute, Lycra, Ribbon Bangles, Space Blankets to name just a few)
  • Sensory Mediums (such as rice, pasta, Water Beads, Bubbles, Lights etc)

The main aim of our classes is to have fun and spend some quality time with your child.

We run 25 classes a week throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk.
