Camp 4-2-11, which runs during all school holidays, was named Best Holiday Club in Gloucestershire in the AI Business Excellence Awards. A few weeks later it was visited by Ofsted inspectors who rated it outstanding and described it as follows:
‘An exceptionally well-organised, happy environment, where children clearly enjoy themselves and develop their skills. Staff show a genuine interest in children’s play, they offer encouragement and thoughtfully nurture children’s imaginations.’
Mum of six, Kate Hall, who has been running the camps for twelve years says:
“I’m so proud of our camp team who make it such a positive and fun experience for the children. Our aim is to provide working parents with guilt-free childcare.”
The camp now has 4 settings at St Edward’s Senior School in Cheltenham, Dinglewell in Gloucester, The Cotswold School in Bourton-on-the-Water and this year launches at Archway School in Stroud.
Camp 4-2-11 caters for children aged 3-14 years, in two age groups: 3-6 years and 7-14 years, enabling activities to be tailored. With everything from drama to junk modelling, from games of rounders to movies & popcorn, treasure hunts, climbing-wall, archery, swimming, inflatable fun, science & magic, circus skills to name a few!

Didi rugby Gloucestershire has been running for just under 3 years now and has classes for 18m -6yr olds in Cheltenham, Gloucester and Cinderford, with new venues being planned. Keith Smith runs the company, a retired Police Officer of 30 years but also an experienced level 2 ECB cricket coach and tag rugby coach of many years. The ideology of didi rugby is to get young children active and learning through sports and the great values they bring.
Our classes are not only great fun for both children and parents, but with built in early years learning, listening skills and the opportunity for children to interact with peers and learn valuable life and social skills. Games are rugby Themed and all about learning and developing motor skills for the youngest ages, but as the child grows and becomes more independent, increased rugby skills are built in so that upon reaching 6 years of age, the child is ready and prepared to go on to tag rugby if that is what they want. All our coaches are DBS checked, coaching or teacher qualified, and First aid trained.
Our indoor and outdoor venues offer all year-round classes. Great fun for both boys and girls alike didi rugby is introducing cricket, basketball, and dodgeball in 2022 to extend our fun and experience to other sports. We also provide classes in many local primary schools and conduct coaching sessions at Hartpury University to pass on our knowledge to the student coaches in early years coaching. Didi rugby/sport is growing year on year and always welcomes new children to join our didi family.
We look forward to bringing more smiles to more faces every year.

No visit to the Cotswolds would be complete without a daytrip to Gloucester Cathedral, an iconic medieval building and place of worship with 1,300 years of history. Entry is by donation, and the Cathedral is open to visitors seven days a week.
As you walk through the main entrance, the first thing you’ll see will be the magnificent Norman Nave. Get up close to the circular pillars and try to spot the ancient stonemasons’ marks, and then venture into the Cloisters and follow in the footsteps of monks and pilgrims. More recently, the Cloisters have gained fame around the world for featuring as ‘Hogwarts’ in a number of the Harry Potter movies. Don’t miss the tomb of the allegedly murdered King Edward II, which represents the only monarch’s tomb in the southwest of England.
The Tribune Gallery, which is accessed via a spiral staircase, is a must for families. It’s an interactive exhibition space which offers visitors the chance to get dressed up as medieval characters, as well as the opportunity to create your own gargoyle and lots more. Try out the Whispering Gallery whilst you’re here, which is our best kept secret…
There’s plenty of outside space for little ones to let off steam, including the beautiful Cathedral Green. Refuel at The Monk’s Kitchen where you’ll find an extensive menu catering to a range of dietary requirements, as well as the Mini Monk’s Bag which is ideal for those with smaller appetites. Find the perfect souvenir from your visit at the Cathedral Gift Shop.
All are welcome, and we look forward to seeing you soon. Head to our website to find out more; we recommend checking our daily calendar for opening times before you visit.
Kick-A-Bout’s coaching courses offer a fun and alternative approach to football training for children for 3-11 year olds. We provide individually tailored courses for different age groups, ranging from 3 and upwards.
Our aim is to provide fun coaching sessions in a safe and disciplined learning environment. We provide tailored courses for different age groups starting from 3+.
We encourage the children to use their imaginations by incorporating fancy dress and visual props into story-telling sessions. Each part of the story relates to a different football game. In a typical session the children can find themselves running from monsters, collecting hidden treasure or racing in police cars!
Classes are designed to be fun, but within a more realistic football environment. By giving each child a ball right at the start of the session, they quickly feel comfortable with it at their feet. Ball confidence is then developed by playing small team matches and a variety of different 1 versus 1 games.

Launched in 1979, Tumble Tots prides itself on being the UK’s first structured physical play program for children from 6 months to 7 year olds. Tumble Tots allows children the opportunity to participate in an active physical play program using specially designed colourful equipment.
Tumble Tots strives to provide children with essential skills for life whilst contributing to their recommended 3 hours of physical activity that is needed every day!
Each 45 minute Tumble Tots sessions has been carefully designed and structured to enhance a child’s physical development skills alongside their social and cognitive development.
During the most formative years taking part in a physical play program is critical in helping a child to develop a positive attitude towards physical activity. It is also widely believed that taking part in an activity such as Tumble Tots, a child’s brain development can be improved by enhancing the ongoing development of both fine and gross motor skills.
There are five different Tumble Tots classes, which are all structured to reflect the emotional behaviour, physical change and ability according to the age of the child.
Our classes run on the following days in these locations;
