This Father’s Day, SEA LIFE centres across the UK are inviting families to dive into an ocean of excitement and celebrate their fin-tastic father figures, with free entry for one parent!
SEA LIFE sites have welcomed a series of new arrivals in recent months, meaning there’s a whole host of new dads dipping their toes into parenting for the very first time.
To celebrate the new arrivals, from June 10th to 16th, visitors will be able to claim a Father’s Day special offer, with one parent going free when any other ticket is purchased. The offer is valid for visits up to and including August 4th – meaning there’s plenty of time to organise some family fun.

SEA LIFE SCARBOROUGH
Meet Skipper, the dashing penguin who’s been waddling through life for nine years, with the help of SEA LIFE aquarist Todd German, who hand-reared Skipper himself, becoming his surrogate dad.
Partnered with Betty for three years, Skipper is now all grown up and has recently celebrated the hatching of their first chick. Weighing in at 3.3kg, this little bundle of joy is under the watchful eyes of both parents and it’s a real family affair in the penguin world, with parenting duties split right down the middle – 50/50. Come witness the cuteness overload and the heart-warming teamwork between Skipper and Betty as they raise their chick to be the coolest bird in town.
SEA LIFE WEYMOUTH
Badger, the bachelor extraordinaire, has finally found love! After a decade of solo adventures, Badger met his match in Isa. Their whirlwind romance led to the arrival of their adorable pups: Kimchi, Tofu, Sushi, and Miso!
These otter-ly adorable additions have brought laughter and joy to SEA LIFE Weymouth. Badger has taken to fatherhood like an otter to water, showing off his affectionate and protective side with pride. Making waves on May 11th, a baby Cownose Ray has entered the scene, stealing hearts left, right, and centre! Cownose Rays live in large sociable groups, so not only will the new dad be caring for the pup, but he’ll also rely on Manchester’s other rays to help out with parenting duties.
SEA LIFE HUNSTANTON
An adorable amphibian at Hunstanton has welcomed seven baby axolotls into the world this month, with the salamander breed popular with the youngsters due to their similarity to a specific Pokémon, as well as their inclusion in popular game Minecraft. The team at Hunstanton has also welcomed 100s of baby stick insects to the attraction.

Haynes Motor Museum in Somerset – Father’s Day 2024 Activities

You have 60 minutes. You must employ teamwork, ingenuity, creativity, and out of the box thinking to help you and your family escape in time. The room is filled with mysterious clues, challenging puzzles, and crazy machines.
Escape rooms are tons of fun for all ages. Everyone can get involved and play a part. Teamwork is essential to success. Throughout the puzzles, clues, and challenges, each member of your team will have to use their determination and ingenuity to beat the clock and escape in time.
In many ways, an escape room is only as good as its story. It needs to be something that intrigues, something that is mysterious and exciting.
“The Lost Passenger” game has such a story; in 1951, poet John Betjeman wrote about a passenger who loses his way in the depths of the abandoned underground station. No one knows if that passenger ever escaped and rumours of ghostly presences trapped inside its tunnels linger on.
Your mission is to step down into the Ghost tube station and investigate the paranormal activity!
The second game “Codebreakers” is based on the history of the codebreakers of WWII.
Your mission is to decode the encrypted Nazis messages, find the identity of the spy, and escape from Churchill’s secret War Room!
The third game room “Underground 2099” is a futuristic Sci-Fi adventure, and your mission is to stop the plot of the mysterious King Rat, hidden in the London Underground!
In all games, you will have to work together to find clues and solve a series of puzzles in order to escape the room.
Get your brains working and your blood pumping!
