Activity Description

WHAT TO EXPECT:

• Your child will discover the Japanese contemporary artist, Takashi Murakami

• And create their own painting on canvas inspired by Murakami’s vibrant artworks.

• All materials & an apron provided.

• Bring home their creative ideas, handouts & their painted canvas to proudly display at home.

• We will support one another to encourage artistic freedom and confidence.

• We will embrace “mistakes” as learning opportunities.

• All abilities welcome.

• We do not centre on perfection.

DROP-OFF OR STAY:

Most parents & carers drop-off their children at Dot Kids workshops but if your child prefers you to stay for the beginning or til the end, you are welcome to.

The Dot Kids Method is an innovative approach to Art Education, which is not just about colours on a canvas; it’s a catalyst for self-discovery, confidence and wellbeing.
