Who’s it for?
Summer Theatre Making Camp invites budding performers aged 5—16 for a unique five-day theatre adventure! The young performers will get to unleash their creativity and imagination by devising and performing their very own play under the theme of “Under One Sky“.

ⓘ There are four differentiated age groups within Summer Theatre Camp.

Ages 5—10 camps are Mon 27 July – Fri 31 July 2026

Ages 11-16 camps are Mon 3 Aug – Fri 7 Aug 2026.

Each day runs 10:00 to 15:00 at Downside Road, Bristol.

Daily adventures Day 1: Shared Stories, Shared Skies
Introduction to devising: exploring connection through place, memory, and imagination.

Day 2: Movement & Storytelling
Using ensemble movement and sound to express big ideas without words.

Day 3: Character Journeys
Creating characters whose paths cross under one sky, chance meetings, separations, reunions.

Day 4: Building the World
The group will hone their acting skills and perfect scenes as students engage in rehearsals incorporating design and soundscapes under the watchful eye of our group leaders.

Day 5:Performance Day
Witness the magic as our young thespians share their devised play, a testament to their creativity, teamwork, and newfound skills to friends and family.
