Kingston Upon Thames and Richmond Upon Thames have a rich historical heritage going back over a thousand years. The D-Day landings were hatched in Richmond, home to Elizabeth I and Henry VII whilst Kingston has it’s coronation stone where our Saxon Kings were crowned and the signing of the Magna Carta was initially penned. Look, it’s not a competition and it certainly shouldn’t be put music with students from each borough staking their claim for ‘borough with the most historical relevance’ and screened at The Rose Theatre.
This five day Camp will run at Old Vicarage School in Richmond Upon Thames. We have capacity for young 20 filmmakers, with stages, outdoor space, music room, art room and more. Children will come up with the idea for the film, develop the songs and music, then plan and stage the production. They will be introduced to the complete filming process and learn about using the camera, setting up the lights, capturing the sound and making sound effects as well as the roles of cast and crew. Hands on filmmaking fun!
