Summer Dance Courses For Ages 15-18

Activity Description

This intensive for ages 15 – 18 will be led by highly experienced choreographer, performer and teacher Solène Weinachter and will focus on contemporary dance skills and theatre performing arts.

From developing technical tools for set and improvised material to exploring our voice as another limb, the participants can expect to explore the relationship between contemporary dance technique, imagination and storytelling. This is a great opportunity for young dancers looking to experience a taste of professional dance.

The day will start with technique in the morning and lead into a creative session in the afternoon. Family and friends are invited to an informal sharing on the Friday afternoon to see what their young people have been working on.
