Stage2 Summer Schools 2026
Monday 17 th – Friday 21 st August 2026

The Hub, Hazelwell (318 Vicarage Road, Birmingham B14 7AN)

10am – 5pm each day

For everyone aged 7 – 21 (non-members welcome)

No experience or prior knowledge required, just the desire to join in and have fun!
Continuing with our hugely popular Summer Schools, we are delighted to be offering another two
fantastic choices, over the same week –

SUMMER SCHOOL 1 – Pic ‘n’ Mix
Commitment can be flexible – attend for the whole week or any combination of days.
Monday – Lauren Brine (Acting and Devising)
A great start to the week with a day of acting exercises, devising workshops and story making!
Tuesday – Krrish Mehta (Round the World)
Build up physical storytelling skills through Kabuki Theatre and elements of Bollywood Dance.
Wednesday – John Godbold (Read all about it))
Constructing with newspaper; good for making costumes, head-dresses, masks, dens, 3D structures…
Thursday – Louis Delaney (Games and Improv)
Games, fun and endless silliness (and possibly a shadow puppet or two).
Friday – Open Theatre (Movement and mime)
Explore non-verbal communication and physical theatre, to unlock your creativity.
£125 for the week or £30 a day.

SUMMER SCHOOL 2 – Musical Theatre Week
Get ready for an explosive, high-energy week as our Performances Manager; Mark brings over a decade
of stage-tested expertise directly to you. This fast-paced, intensive course dives deep into vocal power
and physical storytelling, exploring iconic hits from every era of musical theatre.
We’ll be building powerhouse ensemble numbers – solos are completely optional – building toward an
informal showcase for friends and family on the Friday evening.
Please note there are limited places available on this week, so book early to secure a place
