This socioemotional skills training program is designed to help children (ages 5 – 12) cultivate essential interpersonal abilities, emotional intelligence, and resilience. The program is structured around exciting games, interactive activities, role-playing exercises, and thoughtful discussions incorporating real-life scenarios. Participants will learn the fundamental principles of effective communication, recognizing nonverbal cues, perspective-taking, active listening, and conflict resolution. Through nurturing skills like emotion-regulation, problem-solving, and positive self-talk, children will develop a resilient mindset and the ability to effectively manage stressors. This occupational therapy-based program equips children with the tools they need to form healthy friendships, manage disagreements constructively, and develop a strong foundation for positive social interactions as they grow.
