Who Can Join?
Age: 5–13 years
This session is suitable for children and young people in SEND Categories 2, 3, and 4.
These SEND sessions run for up to 2 hours and require a parent or carer to remain on site throughout.
Our inclusive sessions welcome participants of all genders and abilities, including those with:
Autism and other neurodiverse conditions, Learning disabilities, Physical disabilities, Visual or hearing impairments, Social, emotional, or behavioural needs, Mental health conditions.
Children in Category 1 are encouraged to attend our mainstream camps and sessions. However, if a child attending a mainstream session is identified as requiring additional support, we will discuss with parents or carers whether our dedicated SEND session may be more suitable.

What to Expect
Our SEND sessions provide a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where children can enjoy gymnastics and physical activity at their own pace.
Participants can:
Explore equipment safely through supervised play. Socialise and have fun in an inclusive setting.
Learn gymnastics skills with guidance from experienced coaches. Improve balance, coordination, strength, and confidence.
We recognise that every child is different, and activities can be adapted to meet individual needs and abilities.
Capacity
To ensure a high level of support and a positive experience for all participants, places are limited to 16 children per session.
Parents or carers must remain on site throughout the session and, where possible, are encouraged to wait in the upstairs viewing area.

Free for HAF families, otherwise:

Our facility provides a safe, secure, and welcoming environment where children can enjoy gymnastics with expert support and guidance.
Session Rules
To help keep everyone safe, we ask all participants and families to follow these rules:
No jewellery, watches, or earrings. Long hair must be tied back securely.
Socks must not be worn on balance beams.
Children must not jump between bars unless a coach has been informed and appropriate safety measures have been put in place.
Equipment and props must not be thrown.
Hitting, aggressive behaviour, or unsafe conduct will not be tolerated.
The shutter safety gate is not a play area and must not be touched. It is in place to help prevent access to the car park.
Children must remain within the designated activity areas of the gym.
Children must not use the stairs without assistance from a parent, carer, or coach.
If a child is doing something unsafe, staff will intervene immediately and explain how to use the equipment safely.
