Activity Description
RISE is a youth-led, interactive Careers & Innovation Expo showcasing the incredible world behind sport – from coaching and creativity to engineering, health, enterprise, and everything in between.
It is a borough-wide festival created to empower young people, families, and underrepresented communities through creativity, wellness, sport, mentoring, and opportunity. Young people will explore real opportunities, meet employers, try hands-on activities, and connect with future pathways.
Born from the success of RollaDome’s Pamper Days, Urban Futures Festivals, and Pathways Expos, RISE brings together the most impactful elements of each into a single inclusive, high-energy event.
The event will feature:
-Wellness & pamper activities (massage, nails, mindfulness, sensory spaces)
-Creative tasters (arts, crafts, music, DJing, dance)
-Careers & training opportunities (apprenticeships, mentoring, CV support)
-SEND-friendly zones (quiet spaces, plants & gardening workshop, adapted activities)
-NHS health & wellbeing services (testing, advice, vaccinations)
-Youth showcases and performances
