Judo (literally translated as “the gentle way”) is an unarmed form of self defence that focuses on controlling an opponent with the minimal amount of effort. Founded in the 1920s it is derived from jujitsu, and has since progressed to become an Olympic level sport. Judo is also the only Para Olympic martial art and can be practiced even by the the blind).
Judo is a life-long skill and has a multitude of benefits for personal development. While there is the widely expected benefit of learning self defence, it also helps to build a strong foundation of self confidence, mental discipline and mutual respect.
In addition, regular training is also exceptionally beneficial for your physical wellbeing, promoting positive health and fitness development.

Start training judo and become part of a friendly and supportive community that spans the entire globe.
