Once upon a time…story writing (Online)

Activity Description

We use your favourite books, films and real life experiences to inspire new stories to write and share. What was it like to be the captain on the doomed Titanic voyage? Would you like to be a time traveller visiting the dinosaurs? Oh no, a space ship has crashed into your back garden! Each club meets for a month and by the end, helped by professional writers, we sprinkle a little bit of magic…everyone becomes a published author in the Complete “Once upon a time” book.

This group is for young writers aged 8 plus. The Once upon a time group is structured to include all of the key aspects of the GCSE English language syllabus (comprehension, speaking and listening, planning and writing in various contexts), so young learners are taught how to become confident future writers!

£65.00 per young person per month
Online on Zoom, Clubs run in monthly blocks
One session per week (1.5 hours)

Class 1: Wednesday’s 10:00am-11:30am
Class 2: Wednesday’s 11:00am-12:30pm
Class 3: Wednesday’s 4:45pm- 6:15pm
Class 4: Thursday’s 11am-12.30pm

Sessions run throughout the year (including school holidays
NB. there are no classes in December to allow for Christmas

Limited to 6 learners per group to allow plenty of time for sharing and feedback.
