Engineering for kids – Lego Robotics Club!

Our Level 1 course is designed for beginners and provides a structured learning experience to help your child build a strong foundation in coding and robotics.

Each week, your child will follow a detailed lesson plan that is designed to:
Teach Coding Through Hands-On Learning: Using LEGO® Education’s SPIKE™ , your child will build and program simple robots, learning how to use drag-and-drop coding blocks. The lessons will focus on basic concepts of coding using the Scratch programming language, which is intuitive and fun for beginners.

Follow a Structured Plan: Every lesson is carefully planned to guide your child through the steps needed to grasp key coding concepts. This structured approach ensures that your child is always building on what they’ve learned each week.

Progress at Their Own Pace: While the lessons are structured, we understand that every child learns differently. We will support your child as they move through the lessons, allowing them to progress at their own pace and master each skill before moving on to the next.

Complete Level 1 Before Moving On: Once your child has completed all the lessons in Level 1 and we’re confident they understand the basics of drag-and-drop Scratch coding, they’ll be ready to move to the next level. This ensures that they have a solid foundation to build upon for more advanced coding challenges.

By the end of Level 1, your child will have gained the confidence and skills needed to move forward and take on more complex coding tasks in Level 2. We’re excited to watch your child grow in their coding abilities and explore the world of robotics!
