Impact Academies & Camps in Basildon & Billericay, Essex – coding classes for children aged between 5-17. Our aim is to transform children from technology consumers into technology creators. Over its 7 years of activity, more than 11,000 children have learned digital literacy, programming and other IT fields.

The lessons take place once a week for 2 hours – project based approach where children will learn the fundamentals of robotics, MINECRAFT coding , Roblox, programming, create website/apps and also develop their soft skills, public speaking skills, creativity through presenting their works to peers and parents.

In this module, children will learn how to create mobile applications for Android using the visual programming platform, App Inventor.

After completing the module, students will know how to:

Develop various models for mobile applications
Understand basic principles of app programming
Create simple algorithms
Create more than 10 Android applications
Upload applications to Play Market and earn money from them

Soft skills: public speaking and presenting their own projects
