Everyone Deserves a Full Plate is a creative, community-based food programme that brings people together to explore food, fairness and belonging.
Through hands-on cooking, conversations and creative workshops, participants explore where food comes from, what a “full plate” really means, and how food connects to wellbeing, culture and community. The programme creates a welcoming space where people can learn, share experiences and build confidence through practical, engaging sessions.
Everyone Deserves a Full Plate supports creativity, critical thinking and connection, helping participants develop a deeper understanding of food, health and social issues in a way that is accessible and inclusive. Activities are designed to be participatory, supportive and age-appropriate, with an emphasis on collaboration rather than competition.
The programme is delivered by Rekindle, a UK charity with a strong track record of community-led learning and creative engagement. Sessions are welcoming, inclusive and open to people from all backgrounds.
Includes free snacks and dinner.
