Activity Description

Dawnosaurs is a FREE relaxed morning visit specifically designed for neurodivergent children (ages 5–15) and their families, including those with autism, ADHD, Tourette’s, OCD and other sensory-processing needs. Our First event of the year is Saturday 28th February with the theme Up Above : Feathers and Flight.

Event highlights:
– Early access to the Museum before it opens to the public (08:00–10:00), allowing children to explore in a calm, sensory tailored environment.
– Capacity for this event is also specifically limited so families can enjoy the Museum in a relaxed and quieter environment without crowds.
– Activities around fun themes, supported by experienced, neurodivergent-aware facilitators.
– Access to a wide range of galleries, including the iconic Dinosaurs gallery, with the space tailored for comfort and engagement.
– Siblings are welcome and families can stay in the Museum after 10:00 if they wish.
