A quiet sanctuary situated on Chandos Place
Amidst the hustle and bustle of busy Covent Garden is the relaxing sanctuary of Brigit’s Bakery Covent Garden. Come and relax with a coffee and cupcake before you hit the shops or stop for afternoon tea or even a bite to eat before the theatre. We have private rooms and seating downstairs, so if you want to get away from the crowds and have your own space, then come and visit us. You’ll be very glad you did!

Brigit’s Bakery Covent Garden is a wonderful French patisserie – as you enter, your eyes will fall upon a wonderful cake counter filled with sweet treats all baked daily by an expert team of French pastry chefs. Fruit tartlets, chocolate eclairs, cupcakes, macarons, cookies, scones, cakes and pastries.
Our full Afternoon Tea experience comes with a selection of sandwiches, cakes, mini cupcakes, freshly made scones with clotted cream, as well as a great choice of loose tea and an orange juice. We also have a wonderful wine list, should you wish to treat yourselves to a bottle of bubbly alongside the delicious high tea. We have traditional, vegan, vegetarian, halal and gluten-free afternoon tea options to choose from.

Whilst we are renowned for our afternoon tea, Brigit’s Bakery Covent Garden is also a lovely spot for breakfast or light lunch. In the mornings you have three options; French breakfast – croissant or baguette with jam & butter, American breakfast – pancakes with maple syrup, or English breakfast – two fried egg, bacon, beans & toast. Our lunch menu includes classic French delicacies such as; Croque Monsieur, Quiche Lorraine with salad, ham & cheese baguette or classic Club Sandwich with veggie crisps. We also have an Egg Cocotte or a lovely selection of salads. Why not finish your lunch off with a little sweetness from our cake counter? A macaron or two perhaps?

Dietary Options & Allergens
Unfortunately, we are unable to cater for: nut-free, peanut-free, combination of dairy & gluten-free, combination of vegan & gluten-free and Coeliacs. Gluten-free menu may contain traces. Vegan and gluten free teas are £3 extra. Please specify requirements upon reservation. All allergies must be emailed and confirmed by management at [email protected]. Bakery Bookings T&Cs
A credit card is needed to secure your booking for up to four people . If you fail to show up for your reservation or do not cancel prior to 24 hours in advance you may be charged a no-show fee of £15 per person.

For bookings of five or more people, we require a non-refundable 50% deposit to be paid upfront and the balance to be paid on the day in the bakery. Images may not depict the current menu.
