This Art and Circus October Half term Holiday Camp in Hackney! The theme will be The Lost City of Atlantis. This will be a fun-filled and creative week, during which the children will make everything from an octopus mask, a sunken treasure chest, an Atlantis necklace, a lost city of Atlantis clay creation, a treasure map, a deep-sea art creation, a Lost City of Atlantis history book, and much more!

We run bespoke art and circus workshops for children in London aged 5 – 11 with elements of well-being and mindfulness. Our aim is to bring more creativity, confidence, fun, play and well-being to your child and give them a creative, dynamic and fun filled day. Every holiday is centered around a different theme so no two workshops are the same, meaning that every workshop your children will be creating something new and interesting.
The children will make a variety of unique and ambitious art work alongside with learning new creative skills, circus skills and improving their confidence in their abilities. Throughout the week they will experience everything from:
– Creating unique artwork and learning new creative skills.
– Learning how to use different circus equipment.
– Improving their creative confidence.
– Understand the basics of mindfulness and some exercises to do at home.
– Play lots of games and have the chance to lead games
– Get a show from a real life circus performer
On the last day of the workshops we have a party! This includes; circus skills, a treasure hunts, lots of musical statues and musical bumps, face painting , a party bag and a how from a real like circus performer. This really in a fun filled week of play, creativity, circus and wellbeing and we look forward to seeing you there.
What to expect
Daily Schedule
8.30 – Early drop off option
9.00 – Children arrive, make a name badge and be put into their bubbles
9.15 – Morning stretching activity – consisting of body movement, mindfulness & breathing exercises and fun dancing games to help prepare everyone for the day
9.30 – First activity – A unique art activity around the current theme
10.30 – First break – Children have a snack and play outdoors
11.00 – Continue with the first art activity
12.00 – Lunch Break – Children eat their lunches* and play games
1.00 – Second art activity – Making the second piece of artwork or learning a circus skill
2.00 – Second break – Children are offered some organic fruit and juice and children can play outdoors
2.30 – Continue with second activity or practice new circus skill
3.15 – End of the day routine – Musical statues to end every day. On the last day of the week, we have a party which includes: obstacle course games, a treasure hunt and prizes for all children!
3.30 – End of day – parents/guardians come and collect their children from the venue
3.45 – Third break – children are able to play games outside on the terrace, draw, play board games and watch 15 minutes of a children’s film for the end of the day.
5.00 – Late pick-up option – parents/guardians come and collect their children from the venue
