October Half Term Holiday Workshops

Activity Description

Is your little one too young for a full-day camp but loves building, making and finding out how things work? This October half term we’re running hands-on STEM workshops designed especially for children aged 5–7.

🕘 Three 2-hour sessions: 9–11am, 11am–1pm or 2–4pm
💷 £17.99 per workshop
📍 Engineering For Kids learning centre, Unit 4, Eckersley Road Industrial Estate, Chelmsford CM1 1SL

Each workshop is a hands-on mix of activities chosen specifically for younger builders, such as:

LEGO® Robotics: building and coding their own moving models
Drones: seeing how they fly and learning to fly them safely
Engineering challenges: designing, building and testing their ideas

No experience needed; complete beginners are very welcome. Children learn through making, testing and trying again, building confidence and problem-solving skills while having fun. All sessions are led by DBS-checked instructors, using our STEM.org and Cognia accredited curriculum.

👦 Got an older child too? Our 4-day October Half Term STEM Camp for ages 8–12 runs Monday 26th – Thursday 29th October, 9am–4pm, at £44.99 per day (single days available).
