British Young Pilots Evening Flying Club

Give your child the opportunity to explore the exciting world of aviation through our hands-on, instructor-led Wings Course. Designed for aspiring pilots and aviation enthusiasts aged 11–17, students attend **weekly 1 hour 15 minute sessions** where they develop real aviation knowledge and practical skills.

Throughout the course, students learn about:

✈️ Aircraft controls and how aeroplanes fly
🌬️ Winds, weather and cloud formation
🧭 Navigation using maps, compasses and ground features
🔄 Straight and level flight, turning flight and circuit flying
🛬 Slow flight, stalls and basic flight testing
🛩️ Aircraft design and flight principles
🎮 Practical flying using flight simulators

Led by experienced aviation professionals, every session combines STEM learning, practical activities and simulator flying in a fun, engaging and supportive environment.

Students also have the opportunity to progress through our structured training pathway, with optional real flying experiences available through our partner airfields.
