These sessions are for parents and professionals – class leaders, tutors, teachers, nursery practitioners, sports coaches and more!

This 3-hour interactive workshop is designed for early years professionals who want to create calm, engaging and inclusive environments where all children can thrive. Makaton helps children connect, express themselves, and feel understood, even before they can speak

This workshop offers two essential vocabulary sets to enhance your Makaton capabilities:
Everyday Vocabulary – this set of 36 concepts are crafted to give participants a solid foundation in Makaton, covering verbs, adjectives, and nouns, thus enabling attendees to seamlessly integrate both signs and symbols right from the start.
Bespoke Vocabulary – specifically curated for this workshop, this set introduces 46 concepts directly relevant to Early Years Settings .

Key Outcomes from the Workshop:
By the end of our Makaton For Early Years Settings workshop, participants will:
• Grasp the key goals and benefits of using Makaton.
• Be adept at applying Makaton with symbols, signs, and speech, drawing from the Everyday Vocabulary.
• Skillfully use specialised vocabulary sets tailored to Early Years Settings through symbols and signs,
