Set in the brassy, bright, and promising year of 1959, Boston’s Colonial Theatre is playing host to the opening night performance of a new musical.

When the supremely untalented leading lady drops dead on opening night, Lieutenant Frank Cioffi — a passionate musical theatre fan turned detective — arrives to investigate.

But as the cast rehearse, re-write, and re-open the show, the line between stage and reality blurs in a riotous celebration of show business itself.

Directed by West End professional Laurie Scarth, this vibrant production, performed by the talented students of BIGLITTLE’s Professional Development Programme, showcases the next generation of musical theatre performers at their finest.
