Ignite Hubs is an award-winning education charity for children and young people. We inspire the next generation of STEM trailblazers, creative thinkers and digital whizzes. Our mission is to ignite the potential of young minds by widening their horizons and equipping them with the skills, confidence and connections to pursue careers in tech, STEM and creative industries.

ONLINE DIGITAL STORYTELLING & NON-FICTION WRITING
Age: 10 to 16
Every Wednesday from 5pm to 6pm (term time only)

Behind every great article, vlog or podcast is a story that is scripted to draw in the audience and bring the idea to life. In this course, you’ll explore the fundamentals of writing for digital media and begin to create engaging content for different social media platforms. You’ll experiment with storytelling and writing dynamic content.

You can learn to:
• Explore how writing for the digital world can make a difference
• Discover how to plan and create compelling scripts
• Write engaging stories about topics you’re passionate about
• Gain experience and start your portfolio of digital content

Please note that no prior experience is needed, and while students will delve into writing for digital spaces, access to social media is not required.

Term Dates: 14th January to 18th March 2026

We offer FULLY FUNDED places if your household is on any benefits or earn less than £30k or less. If you are unable to afford our classes and do not fall in the above two categories, please contact us for details of our Bursary fund. Cost should not be a barrier for your child to learn with us.
