Animation Workshop – Braintree

Activity Description

Step into a world where imagination, storytelling, and engineering intersect through the art of animation. In this six-week journey, students will explore a variety of hands-on techniques to bring characters, objects, and entire scenes to life—one frame at a time.

Each session blends artistic expression with technical problem-solving. Students will experiment with materials such as clay and sand, practice masking techniques, and integrate sound design to enhance their creations. Along the way, they’ll plan storyboards, design sets, and approach challenges with the mindset of both artists and engineers.

By the end of the course, every student will have produced a collection of original animated projects that highlight their creativity, collaboration, and inventive thinking—skills they can carry into any creative or technical pursuit.
