Contemporary Dance

Activity Description

Contemporary Dance is a diverse style that integrates breath and movement with musicality and focuses on free style choreography to encourage imagination. Your child will learn an exciting mixture of contemporary dance techniques to help build strength, flexibility and express themselves creatively. It’s often the style of Dance used in popular TV shows such as The Next Step and music videos (such as Sia’s Chandelier).

All classes also include an end of term performance for family to come and applaud their child’s progress.

We’re a performing arts charity based in Lewisham. Whether you’re an enthusiastic amateur or want to be a professional performer, our carefully planned programme of classes with the emphasis on both fun and technique, gives you the chance to express yourself through drama, dance and singing.

We help our students grow in confidence, find their creative voice and experience the transformative power of the arts! All of our teachers are West End and/or industry professionals – so they know their stuff!
