The Sport Academy offers great value football, multi-sports & dance camps for primary school aged children (Reception – Year 6) during the school holidays around the Cambridge area.
For the children, our camps are all about having lots of fun, playing a wide variety of games, and making friends in a safe and secure environment. For us, our camps are about building fantastic relationships with the children – with many of them returning each school holiday – challenging them to learn new skills or develop their existing ones, and encouraging them to participate in their favourite sports.
We have over 15 years of experience working with children and the camps are run by regular, fully qualified, male & female coaches at a fully insured venue.
We cover a wide variety of sports including: hockey; basketball; tennis; rounders; archery; cricket; and tag-rugby, as well as running athletic style events or playing fun games and activities that keep children active like gaga ball…probably the greatest game ever to be invented! For those that fancy something apart from sport they have the opportunity to make up and learn new fun dances with the dance group inside.
We let the children decide what they do throughout the day and they’re free to change activity groups as they want; this helps to maintain their full enjoyment and interaction and ensure they go home having had plenty of fun and wanting to return the next day!
So come along and join the fun for a day, a week or anything in-between.
Please visit our website to see all our dates, prices and how to book a place for your child(ren). We look forward to seeing you soon!

Tiny Toes Ballet is the first pre-school dance programme in the UK to be fully integrated with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, having been devised by not only a classically trained dancer and RAD ballet teacher, but also an experienced primary school teacher. The Cambridge franchise offers classes in six different venues around Cambridge and Newmarket, in various age groups ranging from 6 month old babies to 6 year old children. With our highly experienced, well qualified teachers, lovely venues, and stringent Covid safety measures in place, you can be sure of an all-round enjoyable experience for you and your child.
Through lockdown, Tiny Toes Ballet provided a completely free 8 week lockdown programme of EYFS based pre-recorded dance classes and extra activities to support parents and children, for which we are proud to have received a ‘Points of Light’ award from the Prime Minister. We are very proud of the amazing testimonials we’ve received, both on Facebook and Google.
“Sparkles, smiles and songs. Our Tip toes class is the highlight of our week! Our teachers are friendly, encouraging and go above and beyond to make us feel safe in class. The ballet sessions are progressive and link directly to the EYFS curriculum, fostering independence and curiosity. Last week my daughter started crawling for the first time in her ballet class! Thank you so much for helping build her confidence and develop a lifelong love of dance”

More than anything else, singing is a fundamentally human activity. Hearing develops early on in the womb and new born babies will recognise songs that they heard before birth. Singing to your new born baby is a wonderful way to get to know each other and to begin the art of communication.
Singing is also very good for you! There’s plenty of evidence to suggest that singing boosts your immune system, releases those feel-good endorphins and decreases the levels of cortisol (the stress hormone) in your blood stream. Even better, come and sing with a group and you’ll meet new friends too!
At Musical Bumps, we provide a learning-rich environment full of singing, percussion and fun. Whilst plenty of classes focus on using music to support wider learning, or as part of a sensory experience, we are clear that singing and music is central to what babies and young children need. Sadly, there is such a thing as “too much” – over stimulating your baby is not a good thing! Gizmos and gadgets are all very well but you can’t beat real singing and real communication!
We offer classes for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers in Sawston every Friday and Fulbourn every Monday.

Living in a changing world of technology and with the recent impact of the pandemic, we need to step back and revisit some basic functional skills that our children have been missing out on.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) said: “Children under five must spend less time sitting watching screens and have more time for active play if they are to grow up healthy.”
As teachers who trained together at Cambridge University, focussing predominantly on the Early Years Development Curriculum, we had seen little change in children’s lives!
Although we had begun to notice some children starting school, confident with touchscreen technology but less confident with their fine motor and social skills, since the Pandemic, this has become even more evident. With most teaching switching to online learning this meant that important skills such as turn taking, getting changed for PE, eating lunch and snacks with their peers, were not being practiced.
buttoning their clothes, using a knife and fork, turn taking, social skills and also more formal skills needed for school, for example: pencil grip and scissor skills. Not only does this have a negative impact on children’s learning and development, but it can also affect children’s self-esteem and confidence in social development. This can often present as a setback in educational development.
Our Busy Hands Activity Boxes are perfect for any child. Each box is filled with opportunities to support dexterity, fine motor and most importantly, social skills. More importantly it offers active play opportunities which develop developmental skills through fun activities. Each activity has been specially selected and comes with activity cards filled with ideas on how to get the best out of the box.

Holiday club care from 8am -6pm every school holiday.
We are Kids R Us. A place where children can play freely both indoors and outdoors. Children are encouraged to create their own play spaces and resources together. Staff are engaging and thoughtful, helping inspire children’s imagination through play. We aim to provide a safe, fun and stimulating environment that children want rather than have to go to. Our clubs have self- led play at the heart of their planning strategies, we follow the play work principles and believe children can learn a great deal through the various types, areas and themes of play. We make sure that every session at club has each type of play for children to choose from. We hope this encourages the staff and children to be creative, engaged and inspired.
Our holiday programmes are designed to balance child-led play and structured activities to suit children of all ages and personalities. There are daily crafts, group games and indoor and outdoor play. We provide a safe and fun environment for your children to Play, Create, Engage and Inspire. We often have trips out too! Check out each holiday club programme to see what we are up to next holiday…

Teaching Spanish is our passion! We believe in teaching and learning together. If your child is interested in languages, then you are in the right place. We love languages! As a Spanish and Latin-American language and culture Centre in Cambridge, we are excited to share our culture with the world.
We provide Spanish lessons for children aged 4 – 18 years. Our classes offer a safe and stimulating space to have great fun while learning Spanish. We sing, dance, paint, create and enjoy together while developing Spanish skills. Our new Spanish After School Club takes place in the centre of Cambridge. We also have under 18 classes on Saturdays as well as during the weekdays. Our GCSE and A-levels classes are tailored to students’ individual needs.
Private tuition is also available for your child in case it is their preference. We also prepare for DELE and SIELE exams for young learners. All of our teachers are DELE and SIELE examiners.
Cambridge Spanish Centre shares the premises with the Alliance Française. Our qualified teachers are EFL (Spanish as a Foreign language) trained, and their continuous professional updating ensures that they keep up with different and innovative methods of teaching.
Our classes are run either online, and on site (depending on Government premises). Overcoming the challenges presented to us by COVID 19, we have embraced the gift of Zoom and Microsoft Teams to keep classes of all levels constantly available.
For years we have been working in collaboration with local businesses, as well as with the Cambridge University Modern and Medieval languages department and the University of Cambridge in their annual Festival of Ideas, and Science Festival.
