Top 10 May Half Term Kids Activities 2018

Published on 26th May 2018 by chrisryu

Wow! Can it really be May Half Term already? Time to take a look at our Top 10 May Half Term Kids Activities 2018.

Although May Half Term is only one week long you can still discover amazing kids activities in your area that might not happen on a weekly basis.

From Science to Coding clubs and Languages to Music there is so much for parents to discover right on their doorstep.

Mama Codes  – London

MAMA.codes truly is a parent powered business, the brain child of a group of digitally skilled parents who wanted to ensure their kids were getting a head start on the coding curriculum in a more inclusive and creative environment.

Kids learn the basic principles of coding through storytelling, rhyme and song much like they would learn a language. This principle creates a rich creative environment where our Young Coders are learning a vital future skill but equally having fun and bringing their imagination to life in code.

We deliver our bespoke curriculum, which is also used by primary teachers in the UK and beyond,  using the ScratchJr app. ScratchJr is a visual coding app that teaches even pre-reading children basic principles of programming while also allowing them to express their creativity visually, through animation and with sound.
