After-school art classes in NW3, for kids aged 7-13.
The aim for YAS is to help kids UNLOCK CREATIVITY, GROW CONFIDENCE, NURTURE SKILLS and HAVE FUN! Through exploring a range of artists, styles and techniques, YAS aims to equip children with fundamental drawing skills and to develop creative thinking. YAS believes that anyone can draw and everyone benefits from doing so! We aim to create a safe and positive environment where children are confident to experiment, make mistakes and share their ideas.
Our after-school classes offer children a range of activities to develop their love for art and creativity as well as their skills and technique. Our positive approach will make it a time in the week for kids to look forward to and we will adapt each activity to make it enjoyable and challenging for every child. At the end of each term, we will have a final exhibition of the work created by your children, to celebrate their progress and effort!

“ My children (11 and 12) have been doing this class for 2 terms now and not only love it, they demand to go. I’ve been impressed with the professionalism and expertise. It’s not ‘kids art’, but real art – knowledge and techniques – aimed at kids.”
“ What a lovely art club! YAS forgoes the usual crafty approach and teaches the kids artistic perspective and really useful and interesting ways of looking at the world through artistic approaches. I love seeing what they produce as it’s a chance to see the world through the kids’ eyes. Sophie (the founder) somehow coaxes creativity out of even the most maths and science-y kids. It’s the perfect pastoral environment that gently guides the kids in unlocking their own self expression. So glad she started this art club! I’ve recommended it to everyone I know.”
