A relaxed morning for children age 5-8yrs and their adult/s to explore and develop their own creativity at Fabrica, a contemporary art gallery for everyone. Explore the world of huge swaying elms, oaks and sycamores together as we create experimental, large-scale drawings of different types of trees.
Collaborating together as a team we shall draw the length of the gallery space using drawing materials sourced from nature. What animals and creatures will live within the trees and how will we incorporate them into our huge piece of art? This session has been inspired by Fabrica’s current exhibition, ‘Strange Relations’, by Simon Le Boggit and Carys Reilly, who have produced two installations that explore scale across interior and exterior worlds.
Fruit and water provided. Parents and carers are asked to stay on-site with their children for the event.
