Activity Description

Tappy Toes classes are a fun way of introducing your child to dance & movement to music. We have 3 different classes: Teeny Toes for 6 months – confident walkers, Toddle Toes for our confident walkers to 3 and Tots Toes for 3 – 5 years.

Our Teeny Toes classes are slightly more sensory, we use props to encourage babies to reach out, to look & watch and to sway & move to the music. In our Toddle Toes classes we are encouraging the children to watch & copy us by doing simple movements to the music and by using props to make it exciting. Our Tots Toes classes are slightly more structured, we are following the songs and we are moving around more to the music.

We encourage the children to listen and move to music, using a combination of children’s and pop songs. Some of the songs are about listening to the words and following them and we throw in ad hoc props, such as dance ribbons, pom poms, shakers, to list a few, to engage with the children & encourage movement.

Our syllabus follows the EYFS guidelines & our classes are split into specific age groups so that each class has a syllabus that is tailor made for the ages range of the class. We wholeheartedly encourage parents to join in and to have as much fun as the children.

We currently have classes in Dartford, Ebbsfleet, Meopham, Hartley and Horton Kirby, with classes coming soon in Gravesend.
